Level 3 Cache - Does it affect Gaming Performance? 3MB Vs. 8MB Vs. 15MB

FINALLY the time has come
FINALLY the time has come to share the results of the level 3 cache testing that I recently conducted, and low behold the results were kind of anti-climatic and 'as expected' to some extent, though I will be following up with another commentary style video after this one, so if you have any questions be sure to drop them in the comments section below.
However today we are objectively testing "level 3 cache - does it make a difference in games?", and the answer is yes, though it depends on the game and it the difference isn't massive.
The specs of the rigs used were as follows:
Pentium G3258 and Xeon Test Bed:
16GB (2 x 8) Samsung DDR3 @ 1333-9-9-9-28-1T
Nvidia 660ti
CPUs @ 2 cores NO HT @ 3.8ghz with Cache ratio at 3.7ghz
B85 Pro-Gamer Asus Motherboard
Crucial 256GB MX100
650W Antec Earthwatts
5820K Rig -
x99 Extreme 6
Nvidia 660ti
16GB (4x4) @ 1333-9-9-9-28-1T (funny that it could do 1T)
500GB BX100 SSD
630W x't Enermax Gold Rated PSU.
The games tested were:
Skyrim - Ultra 1440p Preset
ARMA 3 Ultra 1080p with SMAA normal
Battlefield 4 Ultra 1080 MSAA 2x
All benchmarks were done on Single player maps (as there will be little variance between the benchmarks).
*Also the conclusion made in this video applies to Intel CPUs (specifically haswell CPUs), I haven't tested AMD CPUs (mainly the 860k vs the FX series) so I can't make a recommendation in that regard, hopefully I will be able to test it in the future and see how it performs.
