The song "Congress Alley" was originally recorded by pioneering soft-rock group, Orpheus, in the Fall of 1967 and released in January of 1968. It was the third track on the group's debut album for MGM Records as well as a B side on their second single, "I've Never Seen Love Like This", released that Spring.
