The Demons of Ancient Israel - Exploring the Demonology of the Hebrew Bible / Old Testament

Demons have come to play a key role in the mythologies of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.  But, what do we know about such beings in the metaphysical ecology of the ancient Israelites, the progenitors of the Abrahamic Faiths?  In this episode I dial the clock back before the Babylonian Exile (586 bce) and see what we can learn about the world of 'demons,' or malevolent supernatural beings, in the world of ancient Israel.
