In this video I will show how to sew an orthopedic pillow for a newborn in the shape of a Bear. The pillow is usually used at the age of 0 to 6 months, sometimes up to 1 year. When the child is very small - the pillow is placed with the ears up, when the child is older, the pillow is turned upside down. When the child’s head is on this pillow - there is no additional load on the cervical spine of the child, on the contrary, the neck is slightly fixed in a good position for the child. This pillow helps prevent
torticollis in children and helps reduce cranial deformity in the first months of life, if the baby prefers to sleep on one side. It is also very convenient to place such a pillow in a stroller; the child’s head remains on the pillow when the stroller moves.
I sewed a pillow from cotton and plush. You can also sew a pillow from cotton only.

We will need:
- cotton;
- plush;
- holofiber (I used a filler in the form of balls, it took me about 100 g);
- paper for a pattern;
- pins, threads, needle;
- ruler or centimeter tape;
- pencil or tailor's chalk;
- scissors.
