Behold Mark Hamill's cinematic debut
Behold Mark Hamill's cinematic debut as Sean the Fairy in the 1977 animated movie "Wizards", released about three months before Star Wars.
According to Wikipedia, "Actor Mark Hamill auditioned for and received a voice role in the film. Bakshi states that "He needed a job, and he came to me, and I thought he was great, and Lucas thought he should do it, and he got not only Wizards, he got Star Wars."
It should be noted that despite this being his theatrical debut, he'd appeared in television prior to this, notably as a guest on "The Partridge Family" and as the male lead in the Hannah-Barbera animated series "Jeannie"
