Today, we recreated a monologue from the motion picture Cast Away as originally performed by Tom Hanks who plays Chuck Noland in the film.

The way Tom Hanks brought Chuck Noland to life inspired us to bring our talents together to face the challenge of recreating this powerful moment where Chuck must come to terms with life beyond the heartache of returning home too late and losing the love of his life all over again.
The script was originally penned by William Broyles Jr. and we gave it our best effort given what tools we had at our disposal to share our artistic response to Cast Away.
Our very own Matthew J. Vasquez studied the frame by frame composition of the original scene, gathered all our current and with a team of kind and talented friends and artists we lovingly put this video together for you to enjoy and hopefully find inspiration as well to live, love and create with deeper intention.
Shout out to Mike Marino who took time to create a musical score for our short film and to Joe Garcia and his remarkable family for giving us a space to retell Chuck’s story.
