In this Vedic Astrology forecast I go over the energies at play for this upcoming annular solar eclipse, taking place on October 2nd in the sidereal sign of Virgo in Hasta Nakshtra. I also briefly discuss Navaratri, or the nine sacred nights of the goddess, as well as Jupiter retrograde starting on October ninth. This eclipse is a powerful one and includes the planet Mercury, which will be only a few degrees away from the eclipse point. It can indicate all Mercurial significations going through some type of crisis or major change. Be very aware of your speech, any type of business negotiations as well as short trips. The time of the eclipse is best used for spiritual practices and inner alignment as the luminaries will be in alignment with the earth. Chanting the Gayatri mantra or any Ganesha mantra will be powerful at this time. It is said that any mantra recitation or spiritual practices will be many times more powerful when done during the eclipse.
