Some people have had mixed results when it comes to the photo quality of Samsung Galaxy smartphones. This has improved over the years but one thing that people still seem to complain about is the slower shutter speed.

While some OEMs have worked to reduce this issue by implementing a rolling buffer so the application can extract the frame that looks the best. I have read that the Galaxy S22 Ultra does this when using the 10x zoom, but many other devices have yet to be updated with this feature.
So if you have noticed that your Samsung Galaxy smartphone is taking a blurry photo of a fast-moving subject then I want to introduce a new feature that has been added to the Camera Assistant Good Luck module.
For those unaware, Good Luck is an application created by Samsung and it is available in the Galaxy Store for download. This application provides you a number of modules that can be installed within it, that focus on customizing the Android experience. I've covered some of these modules in the past here on the channel and today I'll be highlighting the Camera Assistant module.
I believe the Good Luck application is still restricted for certain countries, so if you're unable to find it then check the video description below and I'll include a direct link to the Camera Assistant APK that can be downloaded and sideloaded manually.
Once installed, you can find the Camera Assistant icon in your application drawer. Let's tap it to open up the app on your Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21 or Galaxy S20 series device and then look in this second section for the Faster Shutter toggle.
We're told that enabling this feature may end up decreasing the overall quality of the photos you take with the stock Samsung camera application. That's just the trade off that we are to expect when using the Faster Shutter feature of the Camera Assistant application.
However, I recommend you take some photos with and without this feature enabled so that you can compare the quality for yourself. I've seen many within the Android community say that enabling this feature did not reduce the quality of their photos in any noticable way.
I also think you should explore the other features included in the Camera Assistant Good Luck module as there could be some that you wish were added to the stock camera. And you'll need to enable them here for it to work in Samsung's stock camera application.
This toggle should help fix the shutter lag that so many Samsung Galaxy users have reported over the years. I know this feature will work on the company's flagship Galaxy S series, but I would love to hear from you all with a mid-range Galaxy A series smartphone.
