1990s Peavey Foundation - SECRETLY AWESOME

These basses are super cheap still and are truly fantastic. The Super Ferrite pickups are some of the best single coils I've ever heard. They're thick and punchy, neck pickup is deep and the bridge is burpy, but still beefy. Fairly low noise for single coils too! Great for recording, or live use - I'll be using it mostly for recording. Build quality is solid, wiring is clean, and it plays real nice. It's not the most beautiful axe, so at some point I may re-finish with a more interesting paint job. If you can find one somewhere (with the Super Ferrites) I highly recommend this one!
