تشير نظرية رواد الفضاء القدامى للعالم موريس جيسوب إلى وجود زوار من الفضاء الخارجي ، أتوا إلى الأرض منذ ملايين السنين ، وتركوا فيها عشرات الآثار والأدلة ، التي لا تفسير آخر لها ، تزايد الجدل العلمي على الساحة ، وبدأ تحد جريء بين العلماء ، الذين لم يستطيعوا إنكار كل الأدلة العلمية المؤكدة ، على وجود تقدم علمي مدهش ساد العالم ، قبل تلك الحضارة التي نعرفها الآن ، وإن رفضوا في الوقت ذاته ، تأييد ( نظرية رواد الفضاء القدامى ) تلك ، والتي تبناها ، إلى جوار ( جيسوب ) ، عدد لا بأس به ، من مشاهير وكبار العلماء ، بقدر ما رفضها واستنكرها البعض الآخر في عنف .
