Sandbox experiment (strike-slip shear corridor)

Sandbox experiment (strike-slip shear corridor) done with fine sand and a mixture of wheat flour and coffee powder. Experiment was conducted by professor Marcos Roberto Pinheiro (Graduate Program in Physical Geography of the University of São Paulo - Brazil), responsible for the course "Neotectonic and Landform Development", in association with the professor Paola Cianfarra (University Roma3 - Italy).
