Your Questions Answered:

1. What are the benefits of using a pregnancy birthing ball? 🤔
Using a birthing ball during pregnancy can help alleviate discomfort, improve posture, and increase blood flow. During labour, bouncing on a birthing ball can help ease pain and pressure whilst getting baby into an optimal fetal position. After delivery, using a birthing ball can aid in postpartum recovery by improving core strength, reducing pain, and promoting relaxation.

2. How do I know what size birthing ball I need? 📏
It is important to choose the right size pregnancy birthing ball depending on your height. A ball that is too big or too small may not provide enough support or comfort for you. You should sit on it and ensure that your feet are flat on the floor with your hips level and a little above your knees to determine the size of the ball.
We recommend: up to 5'10" - 65cm ball above 5'10" - 75cm ball.

3. Can I use a birthing ball for postpartum exercise? 💪🏼
Yes! A birthing ball is a great tool for postpartum exercise as it can help improve core strength and stability. Try doing pelvic tilts, seated twists, or even gentle bouncing exercises while holding your baby for added resistance. Be sure to check with your doctor or midwife before starting any postpartum exercise routine.
