Gun Camera footage from an AC-130H Spectre Gunship flying a combat mission over Afghanistan - striking insurgents in a wooded area. The Gunship, providing close air support for "friendlies", strikes with such force that it actually chops down a tree under which insurgents are taking cover.
The AC-130H was retired from service in 2013 - to be replaced by the AC-130J Ghostrider.
