The GORUCK Ballistic Trainers are fairly new on the cross-training shoe scene. This model has a ton of characteristics that make it unique compared to some of its more prominent peers.
Right off the bat, three of the larger construction differences that the #GORUCK Ballistic Trainers offer include an 8mm heel-to-toe drop, a gradient density midsole, and CORDURA nylon upper.
I've been putting the GORUCK Ballistic Trainers to the test and comparing them to other top cross-training shoes. Thus far, I've been pleasantly pleased with the performance of this model across the board.

Overall, I'm a fan of the GORUCK Ballistic Trainers. I think they're a great model that has a construction that has somewhat stepped away from the "traditional" cross-trainers most of us are used to.
If you're someone wanting something different and want to break away from the standard Nike and Reebok cross-trainers, then I'd highly suggest considering the GORUCK Ballistic Trainers.
The heel-to-toe drop is slightly higher than the traditional 4mm used in most cross-trainers, however, I don't think that will hinder performance whatsoever for many.
