While building a creek crossing
While building a creek crossing by hand, it seems prudent to control erosion and possibly rushing water. Hand-made, DIY Gabions made from reclaimed fencing and a bit of hard work should do the trick.
The house site for the earthbag build we plan to do, moves a little west so we can enjoy more passive cooling, fertility and water management.
Permaculture principles is playing a huge role in all our decisions. We shall observe and learn, adapt and change. Little bits at a time.
