The golden tree snakes are
The golden tree snakes are also known as flying snakes. They have the amazing ability to glide for a hundred meters if they jump off a very tall tree or side of a cliff. They glide down and move forward as they go.
Their scientific name is Chrysopelea ornata ornatissima.
They eat a lot of geckos -the small and big Tokay geckos that are all over Thailand.
These snakes are biters, but they have small teeth and are only mildly dangerous due to their weak venom, but the fact that they are rear-fanged as well. They would need to bite down for a long time to transfer enough venom to hurt most people.
That said, if you are allergic to the venom you could die quickly from any venomous snake bite.
