Samsung is preparing to launch
Samsung is preparing to launch new high-end smartphones, the Galaxy S24, featuring the Exynos 2400 chip. They are also developing a more budget-friendly chip, the Exynos 1480, which will power phones like the Galaxy A54 and includes a special AMD graphics processor called the Xclipse 530 GPU. This collaboration with AMD brings impressive graphics capabilities to cheaper Samsung devices. The Exynos 1480 chip has not been tested in a phone yet, but it's expected to have eight parts with four running at 2.75GHz and four at 2.05GHz. The Xclipse 530 GPU is less advanced than the high-end Xclipse 940, possibly lacking ray tracing. Good cooling will be crucial to maintain performance in devices using the Exynos 1480 chip.
