How to Clean Bengali Hilsa (Ilish) Fish at Home

Hilsa (Tenualosa Ilish) is a fish species of  the Herring family. In Bengal this fish is not just a fish,  but an integral part of the cultural milieu.  The gold standard from which the taste of all other fish is measured. Here I am sharing this video of cleaning, descaling and cutting this fish for cooking later in various recipes.
