Having been retired from service in 2013, NASA's famous Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, known as NASA 905, was disassembled and moved from Ellington Field to Space Center Houston.  The move took place during the nights of 28 and 29 April 2014 as the mighty Boeing 747-100 rolled six miles down Highway 3 and then two miles down NASA Road 1.

The move is another step in readying the aircraft for public display in the spring of 2015.  Filmed by Nathan Moeller, Brian Papke and Juan De La Garza of Astro95 Media & Spaceflight Insider.  Special thanks to Space Center Houston, The Boeing Company and Palletized Trucking.
