Today I will be talking about my experience with Sony/MAGIX Vegas Pro 13 & 14 and Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017. I'll be talking about what each video editor is better at, who I recommend each video editor for (filmmaker, beginner, etc..) and my experiences with things such as the learning curve/process, shortcuts, rendering times, navigation, menus, pricing, and workflow.

Vegas Pro vs. Premiere Pro:
At this point in time, I've used Vegas Pro much longer than I have with Premiere Pro. With that being said, I still enjoy using Premiere Pro a lot more because it has a lot more to offer in terms of audio editing, color correction/grading, and a lot of things Vegas didn't have to offer. Not only is Premiere much cheaper, it comes along with other top-tier programs like Photoshop, Audition, Illustrator and way more that benefit you tremendously if you're a beginner starting out on YouTube and making videos. Saying this, Premiere requires a much bigger learning curve and searching up tutorials will be needed to get started.
I can say however Vegas Pro is definitely better for you if you are coming from a cheaper alternative video editing software like Camtasia Studio 9, Filmora, and HitFiflm. Editing in this video software will come almost natural to you and won't require you to constantly search up tutorials to learn about it. Shortcuts and menus are easy to use and overall will be really efficient for your workflow.
