The sky's the limit when it comes to different cookie, ice cream and topping combos you could experiment with...and as Jess Dang (http://blog.cooksmarts.com) says, they bring you right back to your childhood! This simple dessert really is the perfect treat for your whole family or a fun way to end a dinner party. So what are you waiting for?


Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches

Makes 4

Ingredients
8 Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Chunk Cookies
1 pint of vanilla ice cream
½ cup of mini-chocolate chips
½ cup slivered almonds
½ cup rainbow sprinkles
½ cup crushed heath bars

• Take ice cream out of the freezer about 10 minutes before making sandwiches
• Scoop onto one cookie and press down with other cookie to form sandwich
• Roll in topping
• Repeat until all sandwiches are made and refreeze in an air-tight container
