"Swanee River" is one of
"Swanee River" is one of the Boogie Woogie classics, made popular by Albert Ammons and other great pianists in the 1920's and 1930's. It is always a foot-tapping crowd-pleaser when performed at the Festival.
Here are three versions of Swanee River performed at the 2006 Fomag Festival :
1 : Ricky Nye on the main concert stage with Tap Dancer "Jelly".
2 : Ricky Nye again outdoors in the beautiful gardens of Springhead.
3 : Full version performed by Patrick Smet in the traditional Bar setting of the Crown Inn Pub.
