In the concentric tube heat
In the concentric tube heat exchanger, inner and outer tubes both are cylindrical. However, in this experimental analysis, the outer cylindrical tube was replaced by a conical tube, and focus was made on the analysis of the HTR in the outer conical tube of a concentric tube heat exchanger. Set-up having two concentric tubes, in which cold fluid (water) flows through the annulus side and hot water flows through the inner tube. In the conical shell, cold fluid moves from a larger diameter to a smaller diameter. The ratio of a smaller outlet diameter to a larger inlet diameter of the conical shell represents a diameter ratio. Three outer conical shells have been constructed considering diameter ratios like 0.882, 0.741, and 0.612.
**MatLab-SimuLink should be used to run the model.
