Today Jo is sharing the kitchen with her mom, to revisit a classic holiday dessert, tembleque. This dish is the perfect blend of rich coconut flavor with the festive holiday spices, cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla. Jo's family had a tradition of making this dish for friends and loved ones during the holidays--a tradition we hope will catch on with you.

Ingredients:
Spice Solution:
1/2 cup water
1 cinnamon stick
4 cloves
Tembleque:
3 cups coconut milk
1/4 tsp salt
6 tbs sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbs Spice Solution
4.5 tbs cornstarch
ground cinnamon, to top
