A long saturated day, less cold and with plenty sun. Newly introduced to Cass McCombs, whose album 'A' sounds just right while walking, waiting and wistfully whisking through New York City. Met a man in Washington Square park who raised two pigeons, and once reaching adult size, he let them go at the park once and visits them every day-- he claims "its like taking a dog out on a walk." The thing is NYC-dwellers experience nature in a peculiar, apocalyptic and novel way-- what isn't nature?
