BRITISH FOOD TOUR in LONDON, ENGLAND | 4 Traditional Dishes you MUST EAT in England
We're in London, England! In this 3 part series we're hunting down the best British food in England's capital.
This is our third video from London and it's all about traditional British food.
We start the day with one of London's East End's most traditional foods- pie, mash and liquor at M Manzes, the oldest pie and mash shop in London. This is traditional London food at its finest- meat pies served with scoops of mash and a generous ladle of liquor- a parsley sauce. Alongside our feast we sample jellied eels- a dish that was traditionally served with pie, mash and liquor. Two of London's oldest street foods right there!
Next up we head for a bacon butty at a Cabmen's shelter. These famous green huts were originally founded in the 19th century for black cab drivers to grab a cup of tea and a meal. There are only a few of these huts left in London and as tradition dictates, only cabbies are allowed to sit inside- joe public can only order from the hatch.
Onto a quintessential English favourite- the fry-up! We head to the iconic Regency Cafe which has been around since 1946 to eat a traditional English breakfast made up of beans, sausages, eggs, black pudding, mushrooms, tomato and bacon accompanied by toast and tea.
We finish with a classic cream tea- fresh scones, raspberry jam and clotted cream with tea. Perfection!

Fry up at The Regency Cafe, 17-19 Regency St, Westminster, London SW1P 4BY, UK. Open Monday to Friday 7:00am to 2:30pm and 4:00pm to 7:15pm, Saturday 7:00am to midday.
Cream tea at: The Cake Hole at Vintage Heaven, 82A Columbia Rd, London E2 7QB, UK. Open Saturday 12:00pm to 6:00pm and Sunday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
