This video goes step by step through creating an Arduino like circuit using the basic components including an Atmel ATMega328P a 16Mhz crystal and a few other simple components.
** Important Update **
This is an update from my earlier video as I now release the kits are no longer stocked by the supplier. So I have updated the video to warn this and provide details of the components so that you can source them from an alternative supplier.
This is based on the Arduino blink project. It provides all the basic components that are required for the ATMEGA328 microcontroller.
You will also need a breadboard (half+ or larger) and a CP2102 UART.
When buying components make sure you buy the ATMega328P pre-programmed with the Arduino bootloader, otherwise you will need to program the ATMega328P using an ISP (In-system programmer), which could be another Arduino or a specialist programmer.
