Fishing for White Bass (Trolling for Sand Bass)

Trolling for White bass , also known as sand bass, in the summertime. Using a strike king 6xd and a pet spoon trailer. Caught a few large mouth but they didn't last long when the temps started rising. The wife wanted some fillets so I tied on my trolling rig and went to work. I found most of the white bass in 13-9ft of water. Would've liked to have been able to catch them slabbing, but the weather didn't cooperate. The boat I use is very light. When the wind is high and waves are rolling, it’s very difficult to stay locked on a spot. I’m still learning how to locate fish on the depth finder, but have been doing much better. All in all I came home with 13 keepers! Might be JUNK fishing, but I'll take a full cooler over an empty one any day! It was a great day on the lake all in all. Thanks for watching!
