A few weeks ago, a 40,000 year old foal was found in Siberian permafrost. The young horse of the extinct species Equus Lenensis should now be cloned. As a fossil, the DNA of the animal was obtained without damage and should now be used as a template for a clone for it now has a single cell to be reconstructed.
