How to import Solidworks file into Inventor 2016 using a STEP file
Please take note that, unlike v2019, v2016 cannot import directly file Solidworks, must transit into STEP file first.
In Solidworks, Save As STEP AP214 version, must save as in Inventor project workspace.
Open Inventor, then click open, change file type to STEP, choose file and click open.
