Learn how to administer or give intramuscular injection of vitamin D3 in deltoid (shoulder). Vitamin D3 is also called Cholecalciferol. It usually come with a strength of 200,000 IU/ml (5mg/ml). However, other strengths are also available like 50,000 IU/ml.
Note that most of these intramuscular (IM) injections can be taken orally as well. In such cases, the packaging of the injection mentions that it can be used intramuscularly as well orally. Moreover, these vitamins are available in softget (capsule) oral use forms too.
