This video show endoscopic nose foreign body removal in 4 year old boy.
Parents gives history of right nostril foul smell nose discharge from 6 months . Also gives history of frequent cold cough & throat infection since 6 months.
On examination neglected foreign body seen on right nostril . Endoscopic foreign body removal done . Neglected foreign body found to be infected cotton gauge .
Frequent COLD COUGH in children causes itching in Nose & Ear , hence they try to put foreign objects to get relief .
DO NOT try to remove foreign body in children without proper instruments . It may push foreign body inside & child will not cooperate further .
