We wanted to give Mum
We wanted to give Mum a beautiful service fit for the much loved lady that she was. Everyone wore red to the funeral and we chose the flowers, coffin and horse drawn hearse that we know she would have loved to pick herself.
My little sister Tabitha made most of the floral tributes herself and our lovely friend Georgia from Ginger Lily Flowers in Rochester decorated the white wicker coffin on the day of the funeral to match.
A huge thanks goes to W Naylar and Sons of Rochester for organising exactly what we requested down to the last detail. There's not much that can make this process easier but to just not make anything harder than it needs to be is enough and everything ran so smoothly and on time our family could not have been happier.
