French President Emmanuel Macron lands in India to attend Republic Day as the Chief Guest

French President Emmanuel Macron on January 25 landed in Jaipur for his two-day visit to India. He has been invited as the Chief Guest for 2024 Republic Day parade in New Delhi. India and France are celebrating 25th-anniversary of the India-France Strategic Partnership. At Amber Fort, Macron will receive a cultural welcome and will also witness a small exhibition of local artefacts. Notably, this is the sixth time a French leader will be the chief guest at Republic Day celebrations in Delhi.
