Groh e Akbari began its journey in 1979, as a group, that strived to bring all the people who had migrated from Hyderabad Deccan, under one roof, keeping the spirit of hyderabadi Tarz e Azadar alive on the other side of border.

Groh e Akbari, since then, has been quite active in all their religious ventures, under the supervision of Askari Zaidi.

Nasir Zaidi our member commenced Groh e Akbari Digital journey, Made Groh Mobile App, YouTube Channel, Facebook & Instagram Pages and start Covering our community all social & religious activity, hence approaching to a larger audience,even outside Pakistan.

حیدرآباد دکن کی مخصوص طرز عزاداری میں مرثیہ خوانی کو ایک خاص مقام حاصل ہے۔ ان طرزوں کو محفوظ کرنا وقت کا اہم ترین تقاضا ہے۔
گروہ اکبری میڈیا گروپ نے مجالس میں پڑھے جانے والے معروف مرثیوں کی عبارت ( text) کو محفوظ کرنے کے کام کو سر انجام دیا۔
اسی سلسلے کا دوسرامرحلہ ان مرثیوں کی ریکارڈنگ کو محفوظ کرنا ہے تاکہ آئندہ پڑھنے والوں تک ان کی مخصوص طرزیں بھی منتقل ہو  سکیں.
