Red Belly Pacu - How to grow, feed, and take care of this Pacu.

In today’s video, I’m going to be showing you my Red Belly Pacu (Piaractus brachypomus).  The Red Belly Pacu is one of the larger species of pacus and is found in the Amazon basin in South America.

Red Belly Pacus are closely related to piranha and are actually sometimes reffered to as the vegetarian piranha.  These fish grow extremely fast and are considered an exotic fish – because of that you can’t buy them from a regular pet store.
