The LG 32UN880 has incredible color accuracy and an approachable price tag, making it an easy recommendation for creatives and gamers alike. The LG 32UN880 UltraFine Display Ergo is an ultra-color-accurate 32-inch 4K monitor with HDR 10 that covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. That all sounds like an incredibly high-end monitor. The default stand for the LG 32UN880 is the type of ergonomic stand that clamps to your desk, not only saving a ton of space but allowing for freedom of movement of the monitor that is second to none. You can move this monitor up and down, rotate it 90 degrees to have a vertical display, rotate the actual stand to change where on your desk it appears, and tilt it in any direction. This is the type of monitor stand that you typically have to shell out extra cash for and have to install yourself – but this model just included right out of the box. It's a nice touch and quickly makes this monitor worth the price. You get two HDMI, a DisplayPort, and one USB-C, along with two USB-A ports – though the latter will only work if you've connected your PC to the monitor via USB-C.
A number of new technologies take BenQ’s latest 32-inch 4K photo monitor up a step or two in terms of both performance and usability, but it still offers hard-to-ignore affordability. BenQ has emerged as the champion of affordability in this category, and the PhotoVue series SW321C is its new 32-inch, 4K UHD offering. This is an increasingly popular combination of display size and resolution, with the pixel density of 137 balancing enhanced detailing with comfortable viewing characteristics. With each new generation of its photo monitors, BenQ delivers performance improvements, and the SW321C incorporates several significant upgrades. There’s a new micro-fine anti-reflection coating called ‘Advanced Reflectionless Technology’ and a reworking of the ‘Uniformity Technology’ to address earlier color and brightness variations issues. Aimed explicitly at photographers is ‘Paper Color Sync,’ a piece of software that enables the creation of a dedicated color setting based on the printer model, paper type, and color space. In operational terms, the SW321C offers a helpful set of connections, including USB-C with 60W power, which also means you only need a one-cable connection to the computer when performing hardware calibration. You also get a modular hood and the ‘Hotkey Puck G2’, a wired remote controller that bypasses the on-panel menu buttons and has customizable keys.
The Dell Ultrasharp 27 4K U2720Q is a business workflow beast. The monitor offers many connection options with its vast array of ports. It even can charge your laptops and devices as you move around the office. Its accurate color reproduction is a thing of beauty and makes the monitor an excellent option for any office, small business, or content creators seeking a leg up. This mid-tier monitor is an excellent choice that I recommend. It’s not a high-end gaming monitor, but you will get some solid gaming results with it, and it renders beautiful sharp images and videos. The UltraSharp comes with a healthy amount of ports. On the right of the panel, there is a USB 3.0 Type-A port and a USB Type-C port. The latter is capable of power delivery to your laptop or other devices. Towards the bottom of the monitor, you get another USB Type-C port and a pair of USB 3.0 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, DisplayPort 1.4, a 3.5mm audio jack, a secure lock slot, and an AC power port.
