"France's Nexter Systems delivers the first batch of LG1 Mk. III howitzers to the Royal Thai Army!

The Royal Thai Army has just received the first batch of 6 LG1 Mk. III 105mm towed howitzers from French defense company, Nexter Systems. This is part of an order for 12 units, which will significantly boost the RTA's artillery capabilities. The package includes digital fire control systems and towing vehicles, in this case, Land Rover Defender 4x4 vehicles, making it even more mobile and efficient in the field.

The RTA is in the process of replacing their older 105mm towed howitzers like the M101, which is similar to what the Philippine Army and Philippine Marine Corps are currently using. This move shows their commitment to modernizing their military and staying ahead of the curve in terms of technology and firepower.
