Here starts our adventure to the Darien lodge on the North West coast of Colombia. My first hosted trip with some old and new friends ready for an experience of a lifetime. We flew into Medellin the night before then hopped on a domestic flight the following morning to get to Bahia Solano, where we loading up the boats and fished our way to the Lodge on the beach in Punta Ardita. We are 220 miles from the nearest road, in a fishermans paradise! We caught a bunch of fun sized yellow fin tuna, some mystery fish on the @JohnnyJigsTV and saw a free jumping sailfish. It was an epic first day here in colombia!
