The concealable revolvers chambered for the .32 Smith and Wesson cartridge were incredibly popular from the early rimfire era well into the 20th century. Considering the energy of the cartridge, however, is appears concealability was favored over power by the purchasing public. Cartridge boxes dating back to when all powder was black powder indicating a powder charge of 10 grains. This proved impossible to replicate with 3F Olde Eynsford black powder. In this video, we took the suggestion of several viewers and tried reloading the cartridge with the very finely grained 4F Goex black powder. We'll see if we can fit 10 grains in the cartridge and measure for changes in velocity.
