🇧🇷🚈 Trem do Corcovado subindo - janela frontal

View from the front window of Corcovado Train, going from Cosme Velho station to Corcovado with the new Swiss trains from Stadler Rail. Corcovado Rack Railway (Estrada de Ferro Corcovado or simply Esfeco) has about 3,8km (~2.4mi) and more of 600m (~2,000 ft) of elevation, which is possible with the rack, this third rail between the two conventional ones. On the train there is a cog that tracts on this rail. The climb takes 18 minutes and in the end there are several sets of stairs (or, alternatively, elevators) to reach Christ the Redeemer statue.
