A TRIP TO GIRAFFE CENTER | GARISSA | YMCH | 2023

Our students at Young Muslims Children's Home were recently taken on a fun and instructive tour to the giraffe centre. This excursion gave kids the chance to learn about conservation efforts and the significance of protecting wildlife habitats while also giving them the chance to get up up and personal with these magnificent animals.

Students are given a guided tour of the facility throughout the excursion, which includes an educational presentation on the facility's history and the conservation measures that have been taken to safeguard these amazing animals. Students gain knowledge of the numerous dangers that giraffes face in the wild, such as habitat loss, poaching, and climate change.
