Millions of American soldiers have died on the battlefields of Europe, or are in the vast prison camps awaiting the end of the war. Despite censorship and massive propaganda at home, the population's support for the ongoing war has reached rock bottom. This was fertile terrain for our operatives, working with the American "Silver Legion", to forment this resentment into an uprising. Declaring Detroit their new capital, the "Free American Empire" has taken up arms, starting a second civil war. The First Army is positioned in Greenland to support them, and our submarines hunt American shipping on the Eastern seaboard with impunity.
