Favorite Bull Moose Rut Pits Part 2
Welcome to a new Team MooseMan video. Back on June 15 we shared “Our Favorite Rut Pits part 1”. It is time for part 2 today.
These are some of the very best moments we’ve been fortunate enough to experience. Rut pits from Grumpy, Left Hook, and who can forget Swagger stealing Mr T’s rut pit and all the chaos that started.
We are gearing up for 2024, we will have at least two weeks of non-moose activity when we first arrive this year. We have special things planned and will share it all with you. We arrive in late July this year, a time when moose are actively feeding and resting…and no much else. I’m sure we’ll be attempting to locate some of the familiar bulls early on, but we’ll be doing day trips to some fun places up until mid August when we dig in on the upcoming rut.
Thanks for watching our channel, we are the husband/wife team of Rick and Libby Libbey, (Libby squared), New Hampshire wildlife photographers (and part time Alaska.) It is our passion to document wildlife of any kind, but moose are definitely at the top. In New Hampshire we spend a lot of our spring/summer hours in kayaks photographing loons and moose in the waters of New Hampshire. And hike many miles in Alaska seeking all manner of wildlife in the fall.
