A heated debate between Muhammad Ali and David Susskind on Ali's trial for refusing the Vietnam war draft, the debate took place in 1968. This is when Muhammad Ali was still in the Nation of Islam (NOI) and adhere to their theological idiosyncratic form of Islam that mixes black ultra-nationalism and the Islamic faith, he later left the organization and embraced orthodox Sunni Islam in 1975 shortly after the death of Elijah Muhammad.
