I found some pinterest articles on making something like this, but it was usually a DIY make a bubble fort from a fan and blankets, and they were all very small. One video in particular showed me it could be much more extreme than that, so I set out to make a massive one for as cheap as possible. A few materials and mostly tools I already had, and I made an amazing fort for very little money! It was for my kid's birthday party, and it was a blast!
This video was a lot of my inspiration:

Everyone should make one, it was amazing!

Edit: The linked video appears to be gone. Here's a simpler version from play at home: http://www.playathomemomllc.com/2011/...
It is of course, very basic. I can't edit the video but I'll do my best to explain the cube:
The cube is best imo. In order to do it you need to create the bottom and the top panels, then measure and cut four for the sides and tape the edges together. I added tape on the inside of the seams as well once it was inflated. I tried making one with the same measurements but fewer panels (saving time by making fewer cuts), but the shape didn't fill out properly. I really think the six-panel cube is the best way to do it, even though it uses more tape.
Feel free to comment if you have any questions and I'll reply as quickly as possible!
