India's first Rapid Rail | Delhi Meerut RRTS train journey | Delhi Meerut RRTS

The delhi meerut Regional Rapid Transit System, also called as Delhi Meerut #RRTS is an 82.15 km long rapid rail corridor will be India's first RRTS currently under construction will connect Delhi, Ghaziabad and Meerut. It is one of the rapidx project managed by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) with a maximum speed of 180 km/hr, the distance between Delhi to Meerut will be covered in less than 60 mins. It is 22 station and two depot at duhai and modipuram.
The first project phase operational 17 km priority corridor from sahibabad to Duhai. It's has inaugurated by prime minister Narendra Modi ji on 20th October 2023 and rest of the corridor will be opened by June 2025.
