How to make delicious homemade Mozzarella in 30 minutes with ingredients you can get from your local grocery store!
1 Gallon whole milk
1 1/4 teasppon citric acid
1 Junket Rennet tablet
add diluted citric acid to 55 degree milk and slowly warn to 90 degrees F. At 90 degrees add diluted dissolved rennet. Stir for 30 seconds, remove heat, cover, and let sit for 10 minutes or until the curds set. Cut the curds and heat to 110 degrees. Remove curds and microwave for 45 seconds. Press and stretch, microwave for 30 seconds, add salt, fold and stretch. Microwave a third time for 30 seconds. stretch and form. Cool and serve or store!
