In Transformers, Piranacon is the
In Transformers, Piranacon is the combined form of six Seacons and, while he didn’t appear in the US cartoon, made a splash (so to speak) in both the Japanese Super-God Masterforce cartoon and the comic books. Big Bad Toy Store (and some other online stores) offered an exclusive Decepticon Piranacon giftset in 2010 and Captain Kyle checks it out!
The Seacons consist of Tentakil, Nautilator, Overbite, Seawing, Skalor, and the leader, Snaptrap, who form Piranacon, or King Poseidon in Japan. This Decepticon sub-group terrorizes the oceans as they each become a sea monster, a robot, and can merge into the combiner Piranacon. The 5 smaller figures can also become independent weapons that can cause no end of trouble for Optimus Prime and the Autobots. This Big Bad Toy Store exclusive set has some coloration changes compared to the original and there are apparently some issues with the mold used to make it, but overall, it holds together. Captain Kyle goes through each figure in detail, and then combines them to see if they are good for your collection.
