In this video, origination of himalayas is explained and also the term pangea, the 'super continent', what it is all about, all continents are earlier joint and then continental drift came and how Alfred Wagner, the renowned metreologist did the study of continental drift and called it apparent fit, all these terms and related terms are explained in a simple and easy language.
NORTH region is called eurasian plate and south region is called gondwana plate and India is placed in Indo Australian plate which is part of gondwana and striking of these plates lead to origination of himalayas and himalayas are still rising every year.
So the concept of continental drift and origin of himalayas is explained in detail.
This video is important for bank, ssc cgl, afcat, cds, nda, railways, ias, upsc, state administrative exams, teaching exams in which geography is required , ugc net-geography and all other government exams in which geography is required.
